Composite cladding: the manufacturing process
Composite cladding or ‘wood-plastic cladding’ (‘WPC’) as it is sometimes called, combines plant fibres with high quality polymer fibres. The Euro Clad product is manufactured using a patented process involving a coating that is permanently melted to a highly-compressed material core and then sealed. This results in a finished product that blends the beauty of wood with the resistance of high quality resins. All Euro Clad products have been subjected to extreme endurance tests. Swell tests and paint flaking tests performed in climate simulation chambers prove that they can withstand extremes of temperatures in excess of those experienced in Australia (between -30° and +70°Celsius).
