Drawn to the Mornington Peninsula by an elevated block with views to Port Phillip Bay, Wendy has created a magnificent home finished and furnished to perfection with a sophisticated contemporary palette. A well-honed eye for quality is visible at every turn. The home’s interior features materials and finishes expressly chosen to imbue a feeling of welcome, calm and comfort and celebrate the beauty of its coastal location and lifestyle.

It is a masterclass in texture and tone throughout. The combination of black, white, soft grey and timber forms an arresting colour palette. While the use of timber in different forms and locations throughout the home – from accents to statement-making expanses – belies an appreciation for its versatility and capacity to add softness and warmth when paired with stone and marble hard surfaces. The stunning entrance is clad floor-to-ceiling in curved, slimline Western Red Cedar batons which also feature on a concealed door leading to a powder room. Cedar panelling complements bespoke cabinetry in a lounge and bedroom. And, look up in the sprawling cinema and entertainment space housed on an underground level and the ceiling is lined with custom-made Cedar panelling.
