Viroc Flooring
Viroc flooring brings the raw elegance of concrete into high-performance interior applications. Made from a cement bonded particle board (CBPB), it combines the durability of cement with the flexibility and easy workability of pine wood particles. The result is a tough, versatile surface with the visual appeal of polished, raw or sanded concrete, available in a range of modern tones.

Sustainability
Viroc is a composite panel consisting of a mixture of wood particles and Portland cement, which achieves the aesthetics of concrete. The production of Viroc panel complies with the specifications of EN 634 and EN 13986 standards and carries the CE Marking Certificate. Viroc is FSC and PEFC Certified.
The Viroc panel has a heterogeneous appearance with different shades randomly dispersed, resulting from the natural colours of the raw materials used and the chemical reactions.
During manufacture of Viroc, zero waste is produced, any excess material is either utilised for cement production or used as biofuel.
Viroc is also free from asbestos, pentachlorophenol, and microcrystalline silica. An Environmental Product Declaration and Material Safety Data Sheet are available for download.

Design — Manufactured from Portland Cement, an authentic natural concrete finish is achieved
Sustainability — Silica-free and manufactured using 100% recycled plantation PEFC Certified timber
Application — Suitable for internal use, and with under floor heating
Thickness — Available in 12mm and 19mm thickness
Sealer — If used for flooring, benchtops, splashbacks, or externally a natural-look sealer coat is to be applied to protect from staining

We chose Viroc as it is such a versatile lining and has an amazing authetic finish. We wanted a product that would stay true with the surfaces you would find in an Industrial property. We are delighted with the result of the Viroc.
Viroc has a surprising warmth which it projects. The variation in the product from board to board adds character , and adds a quality of uniqueness to the product. As a product that compliments a wall over 3 storeys, it adds architectural appeal that no other product would satisfy.
Installation was very easy. We wanted the product vertical stacked, with a shadow line visible between panels and visible fasteners to appear proud and loud and add to the aesthetic. We believe we achieved this goal.
We looked at many product and feel Viroc appears far superior aesthetically. Modinex was fantastic to deal with. We could see the product in the flesh, we could get samples, and the service was prompt and efficient.
